NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application GPAP 12-02 and RZ 12-02 proposing a general plan amendment of all or a portion of four properties from Agriculture to Rural Residential and a rezone from “A-FF-FW-SC-WW” Agriculture—Floodway Fringe—Floodway—Scenic—Waterway to “RR-FF-FW-SC-WW” Rural Residential—Floodway Fringe—Floodway—Scenic—Waterway.  

The project applicants are Michael Browning, Kenneth Ray and Ernest Soucek.  

The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding the consideration of adoption of a negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 12-16.  

The project is located at 20444, 20646 and 20684 State Highway 175 and 20612 Dry Creek Cutoff, Middletown, APNs 014-002-39, 40, 48 and 014-440-05.  

The proposed negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on MMM 14-01, proposing a Minor Modification to a previously approved parcel map (PM 10-03) to allow for the addition of a second building envelope on subject property.  

The project applicants are Jim and Dana O’Gorman.  

The Planning Commission will reconsider the previously adopted mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 10-30.  

The project is located at 11000 Diener Drive, Kelseyville, CA, APN 115-004-07 & 115-006-18.

Shannon Ranches: Grading permit for new agricultural pond

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION & GRADING PERMIT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider approving a GRADING PERMIT (GR 13-062) for the construction of a new 14.5 acre-foot agricultural pond, and will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 14–16.  

The project applicant is Shannon Ranches.  

The project site is located at 8180 State Highway 29, Lower Lake, CA; APN 011-069-09.  

The proposed grading permit, mitigated negative declaration and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.  

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on August 4, 2014 and end on August 25, 2014.
