SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 3014


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has rescinded Ordinance No. 2990 and adopted Ordinance No. 3014, re-establishing County of Lake Health Services as a member of the existing Partnership HealthPlan of California Commission.

The Partnership HealthPlan of California Commission is a multi-county commission which has created a managed health care plan for Medi-Cal recipients. The Commission links each member with a primary care provider and has been successful in reducing inappropriate use of emergency rooms, providing appropriate levels of inpatient care for its members, developing innovative case management programs and arranging for the provision of an enhanced level of local health care services.

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, by the following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Comstock, Smith, Farrington, Brown and Rushing

NOES: None

ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: None

This ordinance will take effect on November 20, 2014.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION & GRADING PERMIT


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider approving a GRADING PERMIT (GR 14-003) for the installation of a new vineyard on a 40-acre parcel, and will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 14–19. 

The project applicant is Charles Kluge. 

The project site is located at 1650 Bell Hill Road, Kelseyville, CA, APN 007-009-08. 

The proposed grading permit, mitigated negative declaration, and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA. 

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on October 21, 2014 and end on November 12, 2014.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application AM 14-01, proposing a ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT prepared for THE COUNTY OF LAKE to AMEND THE LAKE COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING TRANSITIONAL AND SUPPORTIVE HOUSING, EMERGENCY SHELTERS, GRANNY UNITS AGE RESTRICTIONS, REDUCTION OF PARKING STANDARDS FOR MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING UNITS, INCREASE AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN R3 ZONING DISTRICT AND ALLOW DENSITY BONUSES FOR VERY LOW INCOME AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS.

The proposed text of the ordinance revision and staff report will be available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, ten (10) days before the hearing.
