NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Administrative Appeal AA 14-03 of the Community Development Director’s adoption of a MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION based on Initial Study IS 14–12 for GRADING PERMIT GR 13-053 for Calpine Corporation’s proposal to enlarge an existing drill pad. 

The appellant is Lake County Residents for Responsible Development. 

The subject site is located at 10155 Socrates Mine Road, Middletown, CA; APN 013-058-12.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on December 11, 2014 at 9:05 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard. 

If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION & GRADING PERMIT


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider approving a GRADING PERMIT (GR 14-002) for the installation of a new 40-acre vineyard on a 240-acre parcel, and will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 14–01.

The project applicant is Wild Diamond Vineyard LLC. 

The project site is located at 15087 and 15807 Spruce Grove Road, Middletown, CA, APNs 013-060-10 and 013-060-11. 

The proposed grading permit, mitigated negative declaration, and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA. 

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on November 12, 2014 and end on December 4, 2014.
