NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application GPAP 08-01 and RZ 08-01 proposing a general plan amendment from Rural Residential to Suburban Residential Reserve and a rezone from “RR” Rural Residential to “SR” Suburban Reserve. The applicant further requests a parcel map PM 08-03 and use permit UP 08-01 to divide 8.5 acres into four parcels located in a flood zone. The project applicants are George Gibbs and Theresa Mather. The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 08-06. The project is located at 5650 and 5680 Kelsey Creek Drive in Kelseyville and further described as APN 008-730-06 & 09. The Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing. The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on August 28, 2008 at 1:15 PM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.
