The City of Lakeport Community Development Department has received an application for a Architectural and Design Review to allow the construction of a 1,024 SF warehouse at Aqua Products in a C-2 Major Retail Zoning District. The subject property is located at 1565 S, Main St. and is further described as APN 05-033-29.

NOTICE OF LAND USE APPLICATION PUBLIC HEARING

AND INTENT TO ADOPT A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION


LEAD AGENCY: City of Lakeport

PROJECT TITLE: Lakewood Knoll Subdivision


PROJECT LOCATION: 1296 and 1320 Craig Avenue

APNs: 025-441-08 and 005-030-10


PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Lakewood Knoll Subdivision, and an Environmental Review of the project.


The project is not listed on the Hazardous Waste and Substances Sites List as set forth in Government Code Section 65962.5.


FINDINGS / DETERMINATION: The City has reviewed and considered the proposed project and has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment, with substantial supporting evidence provided in the Initial Study. The City hereby prepares and proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project.


PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD: A 20-day public review period for the Mitigated Negative Declaration will commence on October 24, 2008, and end on November 12, 2008, for interested and concerned individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document. Any written comments on the Mitigated Negative Declaration must be received within the public review period. Copies of the Mitigated Negative Declaration are available for review at City Hall, 225 Park Street, Lakeport.


PUBLIC HEARING / MEETING: The Planning Commission of the City of Lakeport will hold a public hearing to consider these applications, the Initial Study, and the adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration of environmental impact on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 225 Park Street, at which time and place all interested persons may appear and be heard. If you have questions or comments, please call the Lakeport Community Development Department at 707-263-5613. A copy of the Initial Study is available for review at Lakeport City Hall.
