NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Board of Supervisors, State of California, will hold a public hearing for consideration of approving the PROPOSED LAKE COUNTY GENERAL PLAN UPDATE. The General Plan Update sets forth a 20-year development plan for the unincorporated area of the County of Lake.


The proposed General Plan Update is available for review by the public on the Community Development Department's link on the County Web site: www.co.lake.ca.us. Copies of these documents are also available for review at the Lake County Community Development Department, 255 N. Forbes St., third floor of the county courthouse, Lakeport, California. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that said public hearing shall be held in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers in the courthouse on the 19th day of August, 2008, at 6 p.m., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard thereon. If you challenge the action of the Board of Supervisors on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
