SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2970

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, adopted Ordinance No. 2970 ESTABLISHING A PERMIT AND SERVICE FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS OF THE LAKE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES. The ordinance includes the addition of standardized verbiage and a few new permit categories which are more specific or specialized than the existing fee schedule, and will result in the reduction of some costs to the customer.  

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, by the following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Comstock, Smith, Rushing and Brown

NOES: None

ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: Supervisor Farrington Absent

This ordinance will take effect on March 29, 2012.

A certified copy of the full text of the adopted ordinance is posted for public review on the First Floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.  For further information, contact the Office of the Clerk of the Board, at 707-263-2371.

Ronald Chips: Minor use permit for nanobrewery

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 12-01 of Ronald Chips in accordance with Lake County Code to allow a nano-brewery with a production capacity of up to 1,400 barrels of beer annually, and a beer tasting room within an existing building, and including an existing outdoor patio area located at 3945 Main Street, Kelseyville, APN 024-125-09.

The Zoning Administrator will approve this MINOR USE PERMIT with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted by 5:00 P.M., March 8, 2012 to the Community Development Department, Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on March 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse.

Napa-Lake Workforce Investment Board: Requests for proposal for services

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Napa-Lake Workforce Investment Board (NLWIB) and Napa County are issuing the Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to solicit:

1) A Workforce Investment Act (WIA) One-Stop Manager to manage and coordinate a One-Stop Center offering a full range of employment services within the geographical area of Lake County.

2) A Workforce Investment Act funded Direct Service Provider to provide Adult and Dislocated Workers services in the geographical area of Lake County offering a continuum of services with a goal of increasing employment, job retention and earnings.

Respondents may submit a separate proposal for one or both of the RFPs. A separate proposal and letter of transmittal must be submitted for each RFP.

Interested respondents may obtain a complete copy of the RFP by visiting the NLWIB website at www.napaworkforce.org or the Napa County website at www.countyofnapa.org.

Proposals must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., March 23, 2012.

An optional respondent’s technical assistance conference session is scheduled to be held at the WorkforceNapa Offices located at 650 Imperial Way, Suite 103, Napa, CA.

A separate conference will be held for each RFP.

1) One-Stop Manager RFP Conference: 2/23/12 @ 9:00 a.m.

2) Direct Service Provider RFP Conference: 2/23/12 @ 10:30 a.m.
