Richard Kuehn: Major use permit to convert on-site advertising sign to billboard

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a public hearing on application UP 13-08 proposing a major use permit for the conversion of an existing, double sided, on-site advertising sign to a 20 foot high, double sided, off-site advertising billboard sign with 200 square feet of display area per sign face.

The project applicant is Richard Kuehn.  

The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 13-26.  

The project is located at 13950 East State Highway 20, Clearlake Oaks, APN 006-510-33.

The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department (Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA) 20 days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on April 24, 2014 at 10:00 am at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Lake, State of California has set TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2014, AT 9:30 A.M., Board Chambers, Courthouse, Lakeport, as time and place to consider the INTENTION TO NAME A CERTAIN EXISTING UNNAMED ROAD IN THE COUNTY OF LAKE (Poppy Lane).

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said place and time, any interested persons may appear and be heard.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, will be conducting a public hearing on TUESDAY, April 8, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Courthouse, at 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, to solicit citizen input and discuss amending the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Income Reuse Plan to reflect current requirements.

The purpose of the public hearing is to give citizens an opportunity to make their comments known.  Written comments are also invited and should be addressed to Christopher Shaver, Deputy Administrative Officer, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA  95453.

General information about the CDBG program is available in a public information file, which is available for inspection at the above address.  

For more information, contact Christopher Shaver at 263-2580 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.

The Board of Supervisors Chambers are handicapped accessible. Persons planning to attend the public hearing and who require special accommodations because of sensory or mobility needs, should also contact Christopher Shaver.

The County promotes fair housing and makes all programs available to low and moderate income families regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual preference, marital status, familial status (children), or handicap.
