NOTICE OF MITIGATION MONITORING PLAN


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Plan has been prepared for the County of Lake Department of Public Works in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act to allow for the Kelseyville Area Low Water Crossings at Renfro Crossing (APN’s 008-038-16, 008-037-09, 33, & 10), Dorn Crossing (APN 008-026-11), and Merritt Road (APN’s 008-034-15, 008-045-10, & 11), Kelseyville, California.

The initial study (IS 13-12) and proposed mitigation measures are available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on April 19, 2014 and end on May 21, 2014.

This Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Plan will be adopted with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Community Development Department by 5:00 p.m., May 21, 2014.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on May 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on Major Use Permit application UP 13-09, proposing  construction of a +/- 9,100 square foot retail store.  

The project applicant is Cross Development on behalf of Dollar General.  

The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 13-27.  

The project is located at 3539 and 3577 East State Highway 20, Nice, CA, and further described as APN 032-262-30 and 032-262-31.  

The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.
