NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING and
SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has set TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 2014, at 9:30 A.M., Board Chambers, Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, as time and place to consider A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VI OF CHAPTER FIFTEEN OF THE LAKE COUNTY CODE RESTRICTING THE OPERATION OF BICYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, ROLLER SKATES, IN-LINE SKATES, AND/OR ROLLER BLADES ON COUNTY PROPERTY.
The proposed ordinance clarifies the locations which are protected from the above-described activity, provides an enforcement mechanism and describes allowed activities. At the discretion of the Board of Supervisors, during the public hearing, any part of this proposed Ordinance may be amended and/or omitted from the final approved version. A certified copy of the proposed Ordinance is available at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Room 109, Lakeport, CA.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said place and time, any interested persons may appear and be heard.
If you challenge the action of the Board of Supervisors on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Clerk to the Board at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider approving a GRADING PERMIT (GR 13-048) for the installation of a new 12.6-acre vineyard, and will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 13–27.
The project applicants are Nancy and Dennis Pistone.
The project site is located at 20743 Vineyard Drive, Middletown, CA, APN 013-063-08.
The proposed grading permit, mitigated negative declaration and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.
The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on April 8, 2014 and end on April 29, 2014.

The Community Development Director will approve this project with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Community Development Department by 5:00 P.M., April 29, 2014.
Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on May 7, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Lake County Courthouse.

SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors, County of Lake, State of California, has set TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2014, at 9:10 A.M., Board Chambers, Courthouse, Lakeport, as time and place to consider a proposed Ordinance amending Article II Of Chapter 18 of the Lake County Code relating to the Transient Occupancy Tax. A certified copy of the proposed Ordinance is available at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
This ordinance will correct the numbering of the paragraphs in Ordinance 2948, adopted on May 24, 2011. Sections 18-24 and 18-25 of Article II of Chapter 18 of the Lake County Code, and all subsections therein, are respectively renumbered to Sections 18-23A and 18-23B. No substantive changes are being made to the Transient Occupancy text other than the renumbering of these sections and subsections.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said time and place any interested person may appear and be heard.
