NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 11-18 of Kendall and Mary Fults, Fults Family Vineyards LLC in accordance with Lake County Code to allow a small winery and tasting room located at 11441 South State Highway 29, Lower Lake, APN 122-350-02.

The Zoning Administrator will approve this MINOR USE PERMIT with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted by 5:00 P.M., December 7, 2011 to the Community Development Department, Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.


Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on December 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse at 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake will hold a public hearing on Dr. Robert Gardner’s application, RZ 10-02 and GPD 10-01 proposing the following: (1) a rezone from “RR” Rural Residential and “RR-SOS” Rural Residential—Substandard Older Subdivision to “PDC-DR” Planned Development Commercial—Design Review; (2) a general plan of development for the establishment of a health and hospitality resort with uses including a guest lodge, 24 villas, 25 cabins, 100 suites together with medical, health and spa related amenities.


The Planning Commission will consider recommending the Board of Supervisors adopt of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 10-02.


The project is located at 5440, 5460, 5490 & 5610 E. State Highway 20; 5130 Foothill Drive; 5161, 5163, 5171, & 5173 Dunstan Road; 5563 & 5573 Dunstan Drive; 5637, 5647, 5667, 5687 & 5697 Fennel Road; and 5707 Fennel Drive, Lucerne, CA: APNs 004-035-03; 033-351-17, 18, 47 & 50; and 033-361-04, 29, 30, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 & 45.


The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review 20 days before the hearing at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, and the staff report will be available 10 days before the hearing.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on December 8, 2011 at 9:40 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.


If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
