NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a public hearing on application UP 11-11 proposing a major use permit for a contractor’s storage yard.
The project applicant is Teichert Construction.
The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 11-22.
The project is located at 2222 Park Place Blvd, Clearlake, CA, APN 010-042-08.
The proposed mitigated negative declaration, initial study and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.
The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on July 17, 2012 and end on August 9, 2012.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on August 9, 2012 at 9:25 am at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.
If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 12-09 of Matthew Uribe in accordance with Lake County Code to allow a collector’s permit that exceeds the accessory structure height limit to construct a two-story 4,000 square foot detached workshop/garage located at 16226 Spruce Grove Road, Middletown, CA, APN 136-101-03.

The Central Valley Water Board has released for public review the Clear Lake Nutrient Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Update.
The update is available on the Central Valley Water Board's Web site: http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralvalley/water_issues/tmdl/central_valley_projects/clear_lake_nutrients/index.shtml . The document also may be viewed below.
At the Central Valley Water Board Meeting on Oct. 4 or 5, 2012, staff will summarize the written comments and present a final recommendation for Central Valley Water Board consideration.
In addition, interested persons will be provided the opportunity to present oral comments to the Central Valley Water Board at the meeting, and are expected to orally summarize their written submittals.
In order to be included in the written response to comments, written comments must be submitted by 5 p.m. Aug. 20, 2012.
