NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has set TUESDAY, MAY 19, AT 9:30 A.M., Board Chambers, Courthouse, Lakeport, as time and place to hear the REQUEST FOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT (GPAP 14-01) OF ONE PARCEL FROM RESORT COMMERCIAL/RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL RESERVE/RURAL RESIDENTIAL AND RESORT COMMERCIAL AND A REZONE (RZ 14-02) FROM “CR-DR-SC-WW-FF” RESORT COMMERCIAL-DESIGN REVIEW-SCENIC COMBINING-WATERWAY-FLOODWAY FRINGE; “RR-DR-SC” RURAL RESIDENTIAL-DESIGN REVIEW-SCENIC COMBINING TO “SR-DR-SC-WW-FF” SUBURBAN RESERVE-DESIGN REVIEW-SCENIC COMBINING-WATERWAY-FLOODWAY FRINGE; AND “RR-DR-SC” RURAL RESIDENTIAL-DESIGN REVIEW-SCENIC COMBINING; PROJECT APPLICANTS ARE DANIEL AND DONNA STRECKFUS; located at 9435 Konocti Bay Road, Kelseyville, CA (APN 009-016-05).
The Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 14-17. The mitigated negative declaration and the staff report are available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT AND MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 15-03 and a mitigated negative declaration based on Initial Study IS 15-06 of Rick & Shannon Gunier in accordance with Lake County Code to permit conversion of an existing 1500 square foot metal building into a tasting room and office space on property located at 12100 & 12112 Highway 29, Lower Lake, APNs 122-360-02 & 08.
The proposed mitigated negative declaration is available for review at the Community Development Department at the Community Development Department, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.

The Zoning Administrator will approve this MINOR USE PERMIT with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Community Development Department by 5:00 P.M., May 28, 2015.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing to consider certification of a FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (FEIR) prepared for the Valley Oaks Development proposal.
The Planning Commission will also consider making a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors on GPAP 06-02, RZ 04-23 & GPD 06-01 proposing the following: (1) General Plan Amendment from Agricultural and Resource Conservation to Community Commercial, High Density Residential, Low Density Residential and Resource Conservation; (2) Rezone from “A” Agriculture, to “PDC-DR”, Planned Development Commercial-Design Review Combining District, “PDR-RD” Planned Development Residential-Residential Design Combining District and “O” Open Space; (3) General Plan of Development to create a mixed use development consisting of up to 380 single family residential lots, a 3.54 acre medium density residential lot, a 2.53 senior housing/assisted living facility, public open space, trails and park facilities throughout the development, and a planned development commercial area of approximately thirty-one acres fronting South State Highway 29.
The project consists of 150 acres located at 18196 and 18426 South State Highway 29, Middletown, also known as Assessor’s Parcel Numbers 014-260-36 and 014-260-51. The project applicant is Kimco Development Corporation.
The Final EIR is available for review on the Community Development Department’s Website: http://www.co.lake.ca.us/Government/Directory/Community_Development.htm . Copies are also available at the Lakeport County Library, and at the Lake County Community Development Department, 255 North Forbes Street, 3rd Floor of the County Courthouse, Lakeport, CA.
