NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Administrator of the County of Lake, State of California, will consider approving a Grading Permit (GR 08-003) with no public hearing unless a written request for a public hearing is submitted by 5:00 p.m., September 12, 2018 to the Community Development Department, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, CA.

Should a timely request for a hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., in Conference Room C, 3rd floor of the Courthouse.

Owner: Beckstoffer Vineyards.

Project: In accordance with Chapter 30 of the Lake County Code, to clear approximately 121 acres of native vegetation on five parcels totaling 352 acres to install vineyard blocks upon (i) adoption of a mitigated negative declaration based on Initial Study IS18-05; and (ii) finding such grading permit consistent with the mitigation measures and conditions of approval from the Initial Study.

Location: 8140, 7760, and 7700 South State Highway 29; 7713 and 7717 State Highway 175, Lower Lake (009-006-33, 009-022-08, 009‑022-17, 009-022-47, 09-022-48).

Environmental Evaluation: Mitigated Negative Declaration.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING BY THE LAKE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator of the County of Lake, State of California, will consider waiving the minimum residential design standards pursuant to Article 10, Sections 10.20(g)(h) for construction of a single-family dwelling with no public hearing unless a written request for a public hearing is submitted by 5:00 P.M., September 12, 2018 to the Community Development Department, Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on September 19, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse.

Sept. 5 public hearing on possible amendment to CDBG program income use

Notice of Public Hearing for Discussion of Possible Amendment
to the Use Of Program Income as Supplemental Activity

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lakeport will conduct a public hearing on September 5, 2018 at 9 am in the Conference Room at City Hall, 225 Park Street, in order to discuss the possible amendment to the use of program income as supplemental activity under the 2014 State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

The Community Development and Economic Development Allocations of the State CDBG program will publish a combined “Notice of Funding Availability” (NOFA) each program year. The City obtained a grant form CDBG under the 2014 NOFA in the amount of $400,000. In conjunction with the expenditures of the this grant the application also consists of approved supplemental program income activities. The City wishes to solicit public input to include additional activities under this award.

The purpose of this public hearing is to give citizens an opportunity to make their comments known regarding what types of eligible activities the City of Lakeport should apply for under the State CDBG program.
