NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing to consider Subdivision Map Extension (SDX 18-01) and Deviation (DV 17-08) for Tentative Subdivision Map (SD 16-01) on Thursday, September 27, 2018, 9:05 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.

Proposed Project: Request to deviate from curb, gutter, and sidewalk requirements and a request for an extension of time for two years.

City of Lakeport: Sept. 20 hearing on CDBG program income use amendment

Notice of Public Hearing for Discussion of Possible Amendment to the Use of Program Income as Supplemental Activity


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lakeport will conduct a public hearing on September 20, 2018 at 9 am in the Conference Room at City Hall, 225 Park Street, in order to discuss the possible amendment to the use of program income as supplemental activity under the 2014 State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

The Community Development and Economic Development Allocations of the State CDBG program will publish a combined “Notice of Funding Availability” (NOFA) each program year. The City obtained a grant form CDBG under the 2014 NOFA in the amount of $400,000. In conjunction with the expenditures of the this grant the application also consists of approved supplemental program income activities. The City wishes to solicit public input to include additional activities under this award.

The purpose of this public hearing is to give citizens an opportunity to make their comments known regarding what types of eligible activities the City of Lakeport should apply for under the State CDBG program.

If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may direct written comments to the City of Lakeport, 225 Park Street, Lakeport, CA 95453 or you may telephone the Lakeport Community Development Department at (707) 263-5615 extension 204. In addition, information is available for review at the above address between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
