NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on MRS 07-01, proposing a Merger and Resubdivision to divide two 11.5 acre parcels into four parcels.  The project applicants are Steven and Carol Ellis.  The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 07-16.  The project is located at 9537 & 9541 State Highway 29, Lower Lake, and further described as APN’s 012-027-89 and 90. The proposed negative declaration is available for review in the Planning Division of the Community Development Department at the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.  The staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.  The Planner processing this application is Brian Horn who may be reached at (707) 263- 2221.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on October 11, 2007 at 9:15 a.m., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.  If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC REVIEW OF PROPOSED MITGATED NEGATIVE

      DECLARATION AND ISSUANCE OF A GRADING PERMIT 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Department, acting as the reviewing authority, has considered Initial Study 07-34 and proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the issuance of a GRADING PERMIT for John and Amy Thorn to clear no more than 23 acres of native vegetation for a vineyard in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Lake County Ordinance.  The project is located at 8170 & 8176 S. Hwy 29, Lower Lake, CA, and further described as APN 009-006-34 & 011-009-99.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

      NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application IS 07-35 proposing grading in coordination with implementation of the Coordinated Permit Program in Lake County.   The Project applicant is the East and West Lake Resource Conservation District (RCD) and the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS).  The project is located on private lands within the Upper Cache Creek and Upper Putah Creek watersheds in the unincorporated areas of Lake County.
