AS A LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application SD 07-01 and UP 07-02 proposing to sub-divide 12.99 acres into 11 residential lots and a use permit allowing four lots to exceed the maximum 3:1 length to width ratio for the “R1” zoning district.  The project applicant is Dennis De La Montanya.  The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 07-06.  The project is located at 8245 Point Drive, Kelseyville and further described as APN 044-331-23.  The Initial Study will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.  The Planner processing this application is Kevin M. The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on October 25, 2007 at 9:20 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.  If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake will hold a public hearing on application UP 07-07 proposing a major use permit for the construction of a 3,840 square foot building in conjunction with a water supply and treatment plant not to exceed 1,330 new connections.  The project applicant is North Lakeport Water System Inc.  The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 07-22.  The project is located at 5880 Lakeshore Drive, Lakeport CA and further described as APN  004-029-33. The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review in the Planning Division of the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California thirty (30) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing. Wireless Communication Facility (WCF)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider MINOR USE PERMIT MUP 06-41 to allow installation and operation of a Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) on a leased parcel at 19237, 19241, 19657, 19672, 19682 Harbin Springs Rd., Middletown: Lake County, California and further described as Assessor Parcel Numbers 014-240-01, 014-240-05, 014-240-06, 014-240-08, and 014-240-09. The site will consist of a synthetic pine tree-type 62 foot high steel monopole with six (6) panel antennas. The project applicant is U.S. Cellular.  The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review September 19, 2007 and the proposed conditions of approval will be available October 1, 2007  in the Planning Division of the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.  The Planner processing this application is Ted Elliott, (707) 263-2221.

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the Community Development Director will approve this MINOR USE PERMIT with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Community Development Department by 4:00 p.m., October  5, 2007.  Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on October 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.
