This is just one measure of our students’ successes, but is one that our students and our teachers can be very proud of.”

Fall classes start Aug. 17. Students are encouraged to register early.
The local hospitality industry is struggling to find qualified employees and industry leaders desire to improve customer experiences while visiting the Napa Valley, said instructor Ian MacNeil.
The three courses offered are: Introduction to Hospitality Management (HOSP 120) held on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 8:50 p.m.; Principles of Hotel Administration (HOSP 122) held on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8:50 p.m.; and Food, Beverage and Restaurant Management held Mondays from 6 p.m. to 8:50 p.m.
Each of these courses will improve the student’s awareness of customer service and provide a firm foundation for career growth in hospitality management.
Instructor Ian MacNeil, who has nearly 20 years of wine-hospitality business experience, is program coordinator.
In addition to those thinking about going into the hospitality field, the classes are very useful for individuals already working in the industry who are interested in career development, MacNeil said.
The classes are offered in the evening for the convenience of those who are currently employed.
For more information on the program visit the program’s Web site at www.napavalley.edu/hospitality or contact Ian MacNeil at 707-256-4588.
See the college Web site at www.napavalley.edu for registration information.
