PUBLIC NOTICE
Transit Service Reduction Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake Transit Authority will hold a public hearing to seek comments from the public regarding the proposed transit service changes that will impact both the fixed route and paratransit services. The transit system operated as Lake Transit proposes the following service changes:Public Hearing - will be held at the regular meeting of Lake Transit Authority scheduled for August 9, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeport City Hall Council Chambers, 225 Park Street, Lakeport, CA to discuss changes and receive public comments.
Written public comments on service reductions may also be submitted to Public Hearing Comments, Lake Transit Authority, PO Box 698, Lower Lake, CA 95457. Written comments will be received until Aug. 8, 2017.
For special accommodations or translation services, citizens may call 707-263-7868 at least 48 hours in advance of the public hearing.
Lake Transit Authority assures nondiscrimination in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT
A CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY
THE LAKE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will consider recommended environmental determinations and hold a public hearing on whether to approve, conditionally approve, or deny the projects described in this notice.
A public hearing to consider the listed projects will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017, at 9:15 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the business of the Commission will allow in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.
If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
Use Permit Extension, UPX 17-01, and Categorical Exemption, CE 17-09. Applicant: Geysers Power Company, LLC. Project: To allow life of the project extension of time (UPX 17-01) for Use Permit, UP 06-23 for Unit 13 an existing geothermal, electric-generating power plant. The facility is located on approximately 6 acres and consists of a welding shop, station maintenance office, rigging shop, switchyard, turbine building and accessory buildings that support the operations of Unit 13.
