NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on the DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT ALONG WITH THE PROPOSED LAKE COUNTY GENERAL PLAN UPDATE. The Draft EIR discusses the effects of the proposed General Plan Update, which sets forth a 20-year development plan for the unincorporated area of the County of Lake.


The Draft EIR and Policy Document are available for review by the public on the Community Development Department’s link on the County Website: www.co.lake.ca.us Copies of these documents are also available at the County Libraries, and at the Lake County Community Development Department, 255 North Forbes Street, 3rd Floor of the County Courthouse, Lakeport, California. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that said public hearing shall be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on the 8th day of May, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard thereon. If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application UP 07-06 proposing a major use permit to allow a low-income elderly housing complex with up to 23 units. The project applicant is Eskaton Properties. The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 07-21. The project is located at 75 Lake St, Clearlake Oaks and further described as APN 035-231-49. The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.
