Lakeport to present wastewater recycling feasibility study report April 20

LAKEPORT – City of Lakeport staff will make a presentation to the Lakeport City Council and the public on the recently completed wastewater recycle feasibility study report on Tuesday, April 20.


The presentation will begin at 5 p.m. at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.


The report was paid for in part by a grant from the State Water Resources Control Board, Water Recycling Facilities Planning Grant Program.


Copies of the report are available for public viewing at Lakeport City Hall or online at www.cityoflakeport.com under the “hot topics” section.


The public is encouraged to attend. Questions will be taken as time allows.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on applications GPAP 08-02 and RZ 08-03 proposing a general plan amendment of 2.8 acres from Medium Density Residential to Commercial Resort and a rezone from “R2” Two-Family Residential to “PDC” Planned Development Commercial. The applicant further requests a general plan of development (GPD 09-03) and a use permit (UP 06-22) for a specific plan of development to allow for 90 covered boat storage units and 112 mini-storage units. The project applicant is Paradise 5 Group. The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 08-25. The project is located at 4355 Montezuma Way, Kelseyville, CA, APN 009-010-55. The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available 10 days before the hearing. The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on April 22, 2010 at 10:30 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard. If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
