CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Caroline (Kryskow) Emery was born March 30, 1921, in Mundare, Alberta Canada and died on Sept. 28, 2015, at Meadowood Nursing Center in Clearlake after a long battle with dementia.

After attending the Manitoba Commercial College in Winnipeg, Canada, Caroline worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad.

In 1946, she married Earnest who was a bush pilot in Alaska with the United States Army and moved to California.

While living in Southern California, she was active in Bluebirds, Cub Scouts, PTA, Precinct Worker, Mission Circle in her Catholic Church, and Toastmistress.

Along with Earnie, she began an infrared company in Ventura County, selling it after 25 years, and then moving to Lake County where they resided for over 20 years. Here she became a Master Gardener.

Both Earnest and Caroline enjoyed traveling and had circled the globe many times. They took great delight in entertaining at their ranch, El Rancho de Familia in Lower Lake.

She is predeceased by Earnest (husband) in 2010; her son, Lawrence (Deirdre) in 1995; a brother; and sister.

Caroline is survived by her daughter, Adele (William) Lambert of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren;  and seven great-grandchildren. She also will be missed by her two sisters, Chris and Louise, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and caregivers in the Clearlake area.

An extra special thank you to Tom and Linda Moran who lovingly attended to Caroline in her last years. A huge thank you to Meadowood Nursing Center for their diligent care after, and to Tom and Tina Wasson, Tom and Martha O’Brien, Connie Roselander and Father James McSweeney for continually visiting her.

A viewing and Rosary will be held at Jones and Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake on Friday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 9 p.m.

A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Middletown at 1 p.m.

Interment will be with Earnest in Santa Barbara on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – William Henry Clover Sr. (II), passed away at his home in Lakeport.

He is survived by his son, William Jr., and life love, Kathleen Kelly.

William served proudly in the US Navy from 1947 to 1952 with the U.S.S. Soley.

He truly enjoyed baking and cooking.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Peter lost his battle with MDS on Sept. 22, 2015.

Peter was born in Hamburg, Germany, on June 1, 1939.

He resided in San Francisco and retired to Lake County.

Peter leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Hildegard; two sisters in Germany, Edda Woerner and Gunda Jank; and several nieces and nephews.

He will be missed greatly.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – Patricia Ruth Beedle, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sept. 26, 2015, in Santa Rosa. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

“Pat” was born Patricia O’Callaghan on Feb. 15, 1933 in St. Paul, Minn. She was educated by Polish nuns in grammar school and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School Academy. Pat was a devout woman of faith and Catholicism.

Pat moved to California with her family as part of the World War II effort. Pat married Chuck Braam in 1953, lived in Mill Valley and Novato and became the mother of five children. In 1961, Pat’s first husband passed away, she married Bill Beedle in 1965.

Pat was involved in many charitable organizations. She was a Novato Community Player, she co-founded Birthright in Marin County and taught Catholic education in Marin and Lake counties.

In 1980 Pat and Bill designed and built a house and relocated to Buckingham where Pat started a travel agency. Pat also worked for many wineries such as Kendall Jackson, Steele Wines and Wildhurst, and was a “food lady” at Bruno’s.

Pat is survived by her children, Cindy McLaughlin of Reno, Nev., Jody Nelson of Sparks, Nev., Eileen Lott of Cotati, Bob Beedle of Lake County, Marcy Sierra of Sparks, Nev., Cathy Carter of Petaluma, Chris Walther of Petaluma and Bill Beedle Jr. of Lakeport. She had an extended family including numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chucky Beedle, and husband, Bill Beedle.

There will be a viewing from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, 1625 High St. in Lakeport. The Rosary will start at 7 p.m.

All are invited to attend a Catholic Mass at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4085 Main St., Kelseyville, to be followed by an interment at Kelseyville Cemetery, 3375 Bell Hill Road.

Following the services, a “celebration of life” will be held at the Buckingham Home Owner’s Club House, 2850 Eastlake Dr., Kelseyville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to “The Lake County Passion Play,” P.O. Box 386, Lakeport, CA 95453.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Robert “Bob” Samuelson, a longtime Lakeport resident, passed away Sept. 19, 2015, at the age of 80.

Bob was born in San Francisco where he met and in 1953 married his high school sweetheart, Gail Friedle.

They had three children, Linda Peak, Mark Samuelson and Victoria Samuelson.

Bob worked in the electronics field in the Bay Area, but they always had a summer home in Lakeport as Bob was very involved in getting started the Nor-Cal Boat and Ski Club.

In 1977 the family moved to Lakeport and Bob and son Mark started S&S Electric, which he ran for 35 years.

Bob was also a member and officer of the Lakeport Elks.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Gail; his children, Linda, Mark and Vickie; five grandchildren, Adam and Jessica Peak, Jenifer Gerber, Shay Willig and Chad Samuelson; along with four great-grandchildren.

The family prefers donations in his memory to Meals on Wheels or Hospice of Lake County.

Bob will be laid to rest at Hartley Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 2:30 p.m. at the Lakeport Elks Lodge. Bring a dish to share.

Lillian Burch
Nov. 25, 1937 – Sept. 23, 2015

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Dallas Burch of Upper Lake.

Survivors also include three children, Kenneth Burch of Nice, Stephen Burch of Upper Lake and Martin Burch of Manteca, and her loving grandchildren, Samantha Burch, Breanna Burch and Amber Kitzmiller.

She will be missed by all.
