SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2985

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has adopted Ordinance No. 2985, adding Article X to Chapter 15 of the Lake County Code establishing standards for the issuance of Marina Berthing Licenses in the County of Lake.

This ordinance establishes standards for the issuance of berths in marinas owned by the County of Lake. The ordinance outlines the requirements for a license, the application procedure, conditions of license approval and revocation, access and terms of use of marina facilities and applicability of the ordinance.  A certified copy of the full text of the ordinance is posted for public review on the First Floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.  For further information, contact the Office of the Clerk of the Board, at 707-263-2371.

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, by the following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Comstock, Rushing, Farrington, Brown and Smith

NOES: None

ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: None

This ordinance will take effect on April 9, 2013.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application GPAP 12-06 and RZ 12-06 proposing a general plan amendment of approximately 10 acres from Low Density Residential, Suburban Residential Reserve, Public Facilities and Resource Conservation to Community Commercial, Public Facilities and Resource Conservation and a rezone from “PDR-FF” Planned Development Residential-Floodway Fringe and “O-FF-FW-WW” Open Space-Floodway Fringe-Floodway-Waterway to “C2-FF” Community Commercial-Floodway Fringe and “O-FF-FW-WW” Open Space-Floodway Fringe-Floodway-Waterway.  

The project is located at 18765 Hartmann Road, Middletown, APN 014-260-24.  

The project applicant is Valley Oaks Land and Development Inc.  The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding the consideration of adoption of a negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 12-36.  

The proposed negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.  

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed negative declaration will start on March 7, 2013 and end at the hearing on March 28, 2013.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application PM 12-03, proposing a Parcel Map to divide a 19.5-acre parcel into two parcels.

The project applicants are Harry and Nancy Zabel.

The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 12-23.

The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.
