SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2990
                                                                                                                   

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, adopted Ordinance No. 2990, establishing County of Lake Health Services as a member of the existing Partnership HealthPlan of California Commission.

The Partnership HealthPlan of California Commission is a multi-county commission which has created a managed health care plan for Medi-Cal recipients. The Commission links each member with a primary care provider and has been successful in reducing inappropriate use of emergency rooms, providing appropriate levels of inpatient care for its members, developing innovative case management programs and arranging for the provision of an enhanced level of local health care services.

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, by the following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Comstock, Rushing, Farrington and Smith

NOES: None

ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: None

This ordinance will take effect on August 15, 2013.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 13-15 of Stevie Ruggles in accordance with Lake County Code to allow a tire shop at 3597 East Hwy. 20, Nice, APN 032-262-29.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on July 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER SUBMITTAL OF A MEASURE TO THE VOTERS TO IMPOSE A ONE PERCENT (1%) TRANSACTIONS AND USE TAX FOR STREET AND ROAD MAINTENANCE AND CODE ENFORCEMENT PURPOSES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clearlake City Council will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, July 25, 2013, in the City Hall Council Chambers at 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, California at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter. The purpose of the hearing is to hear public testimony to determine whether to adopt an ordinance and resolution to place a Measure before the voters to impose a one percent (1%) transactions and use tax to be used solely for street and road maintenance and code enforcement.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting and speak to issues presented on the agenda. Relevant documents will be available to the public during business hours beginning July 22, 2013 at Clearlake City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive. Members of the public may submit written comments on the matter to the City Council prior to the hearing and/or may appear at the public hearing and speak on the matter. Appeal of the City Council’s decision is limited to the consideration of those issues addressed by the City Council at the Hearing.
