NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT

For the property: 2810 Merced St., Nice, CA
For the property owner: Mooney, James and Kathleen

Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Supervisors will hear and consider objections and protests to a proposed assessment to be levied to recover the cost of abating a nuisance on property owned by James Mooney (deceased) and Kathleen Mooney.

The property is located at 2810 Merced St., Nice CA. 95464, being Assessor’s Parcel Number 031-172-320. The property is further described in Document Number 1987003020 filed in the County Recorder of said Lake County on 2/27/1987.

FEES:

Abatement Costs: $18,475.00
Asbestos Testing: $850.00
Administrative Costs: $116.14

Total: $19,441.14

The Enforcement Official will submit the account to the Board of Supervisors for confirmation on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Lake County 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, at which time and place the Board of Supervisors will hear and consider objections and protests to said account and proposed assessment.

The County of Lake, California is soliciting sealed proposals from a qualified consulting firm to prepare an update of the 1988 Lower Lake Area Plan.

The consulting firm will review the Lower Lake Area Plan and revise the document to reflect current conditions, County policies and emerging issues and prepare an Environmental Impact Report in accordance to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

A Public Engagement Plan will also be required.
