A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
AND NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing to consider MAJOR USE PERMIT (UP 19-25) on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, 9:05 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.

Applicant / Owner: CARL THARP.

Proposed Project: Commercial Cannabis Cultivation licenses consisting of (1) A-Type 2 (small outdoor) cultivation area consisting of 10,000 square feet of cultivation area on APN 007-029-02; (1) A-Type 2B (small mixed light) having 7,920 s.f. of greenhouse cultivation and an additional 2,000 s.f. of nursery area on APN: 007-029-10, and (1) A-Type 3B (medium mixed light) consisting of 14,080 s.f. on APN: 007-029-12.

The applicant is also requesting a Type 13 “self-distribution” license.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Administrator, County of Lake, State of California, will consider approving Minor Use Permit (MUP 19-26) and Categorical Exemption (CE 19-73) with no public hearing unless a written request for a public hearing is submitted by 5:00 P.M., December 11, 2019 to the Community Development Department, Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on December 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse.

Proposed Project: To allow a 475 square foot garage that would be used for residential storage.

Applicant seeks a front setback exemption based on a 1:7 front yard slope, and is limited to a height of 15 feet.

Forbes St., Lakeport, California.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on December 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse.
