NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application UPM 06-01 proposing a major use permit to allow mining of terrace gravel deposits adjacent to the North Fork of Cache Creek.


The project applicant is Clearlake Lava Inc. The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 06-56 and the previously approved EIR for the Aggregate Resource Management Element of the General Plan.


The project is located at 1165 & 1260 New Long Valley Road, Clearlake Oaks, APN’s 006-017-04 & 620-131-13.


The proposed mitigated negative declaration and previously approved EIR will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.
