LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — With a looming storm predicted to arrive on Wednesday, the Bass Angler Magazine, or BAM, Super 60 Pro Tour will wrap up an exciting 2025 season with one final showdown.

The Bass Boat Technologies Clear Lake BAM Super 60 Bass Cat Championship presented by Tackle Warehouse, hosted at Konocti Vista Casino in Kelseyville, California begins on Friday, Nov. 14.

Thirty-three of the West’s top professional bass anglers will compete in a hybrid competition format, blending traditional five-fish limits with a keeper count/scorable bass system.

After two days of competition, the field cuts to the top 10 pros, who will zero their weights and face off on Championship Sunday for a shot at a Mercury-powered Bass Cat payday worth $70,000.

With a 28-day off-limits period and no official practice, success at the championship will depend on who can figure out the bite the quickest and capitalize on it.

Anglers who can manage their fish and better their weight each day will have a shot at winning this elite slugfest.

The weigh-in begins at 3 p.m. each day at Konocti Vista Casino and is open to the public.

Bassmaster Elite tour angler Bryant Smith, former Bassmaster Elite tour angler Ish Monroe, Alfa Angler Podcast hosts Jake Boomer and Beau Joudrey will all be in attendance.

Rainfall totals after this week's storm puts Clear Lake Ca just under an inch of rain for the month of November.

Editor’s note: The total payday for the tournament has been updated to $70,000.

Craig Nelson is a former professional golfer who fell in love with tournament bass fishing 20 years ago. He found Lake County after fishing an FLW Stren Series event and never left. He’s the back-to-back winner of the Konocti Classic and runner up in the inaugural WON Bass Clear Lake Open.
