NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CONSIDERATION OF BUDGET ADOPTION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2010/11

FOR THE CLEARLAKE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clearlake Redevelopment Agency will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 26th, 2011, in the City Hall Council Chambers at 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, California at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider adoption of the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2010/11.


Members of the public may submit written comments on the matter to the Agency Secretary prior to the hearing and/or may appear at the public hearing and speak on the matter.


City Hall Council Chambers are handicap accessible. For further information contact Agency Secretary Melissa Swanson, at 707-994-8201 extension 106.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors, Lake County Redevelopment Agency, State of California, has set TUESDAY, JUNE 14, 2011 AT 9:15A.M. at the County Board of Supervisors Chambers, 255 N. Forbes, Lakeport, CA, to solicit citizen input on and discuss the 5-Year Implementation Plan and adopt said plan if found acceptable.


NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said time and place any interested person may appear and be heard, or may submit written comments to the Lake County Administrative Office at 255 N. Forbes, Lakeport, CA 95453 prior to the public hearing. The public may review the proposed Implementation Plan and other relevant materials at the Lake County Administrative Department, First Floor, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours. For further information contact the Lake County Administrative Office at (707) 263-2580.

SOUTH MAIN STREET AND SODA BAY ROAD WIDENING AND BIKE LANES PROJECT


Notice of Availability of Draft Environmental Document and Public Open House/Informational Meeting


The Lake County Department of Public Works proposes to add a center turning lane, construct Class II bicycle lanes, underground overhead utility lines, and improve utility infrastructure on South Main Street and Soda Bay Road in the South Lakeport area. The project area consists of a 0.5-mile segment of South Main Street, from the Lakeport city limits to the State Route 175 extension, and a 0.75-mile segment of Soda Bay Road extending south from State Route 175 to approximately 0.1-mile west of Manning Creek. The goal of the project is to remove overhead utilities, improve traffic flow, and provide for safe pedestrian and bicycle movement along South Main Street and Soda Bay Road.


The California Department of Transportation and the Lake County Department of Public Works are seeking public comment on the Draft Environmental Document prepared for the project in accordance with National Environmental Policy Act and California Environmental Quality Act requirements. The Initial Study with Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration/ Environmental Assessment is available for review on the web at www.co.lake.ca.us. Copies of the environmental documentation and other project documents are also available with the Public Works & Community Development Departments located on the third floor of the Lake County Courthouse, located at 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport.


On Monday, May 23, 2011, the Lake County Public Works & Community Development Departments will be hosting a Public Open House at the Lake County Courthouse to introduce the project and receive comments on the Draft Environmental Document. Project information will be on display and available for review, and the project staff will be available to answer questions and concerns from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers in the Lake County Courthouse, located at 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport.
