Lakeport Police logs: Sunday, Dec. 5

12:41 a.m. – Traffic collision with injury. Officer Norm Taylor and Sgt. Kevin Odom initiated activity at C and Main streets. Report taken.


3:17 a.m. – Public intoxication. Officer Norm Taylor responded to a report of a male laying in the street at 16th and N. High streets. According to reports, he got up and was last seen walking north on High Street. Gone on arrival.


6:18 a.m. – Suspicious person. Officer Jim Bell and Deputy Dave Perry responded to Tower Mart, Lakeport Boulevard. A 54-year-old man stated he walked from Lower Lake and needs an ambulance; per the caller, the subject appears drunk and not in distress. Referred to another agency.


8:40 a.m. – Lake County Animal Control. Officer Jim Bell responded to a call on 11th Street about two pit bulls running loose in the parking lot. The caller was able to see an address on the collar tag listing a Central Park address, but the dog got loose again.


9:28 a.m. – Lake County Animal Control. Officer Jim Bell responded to report of two pit bulls running loose between Brush and High streets. According to the caller, these same dogs have attacked several other animals in the past.


10:01 a.m. – Welfare check. A caller on S. Forbes Street requests a welfare check on her 91-year-old aunt on Hartley Street. The aunt’s yard worker called the caller, stating he and his friend were at the aunt’s residence, knocking on the door and calling the location and were not getting any response. General services rendered.


10:40 a.m. – Citizen assist. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at Kmart, S. Main Street; assisting with Motorcycle Toy Run, from Main Street to 11th Street to Highway 29. General services rendered.


1:02 p.m. – Followup. Officer Jim Bell responded to 16th Street. The caller believes the person who tried to break into the residence on Third Street may have returned. Report taken.


2:46 p.m. – Followup. Officer Jim Bell responded to Kmart, S. Main Street. Report taken.


4:14 p.m. – Suspicious person. Deputy Daren Daskam and Sgt. Kevin Odom responded to a report of a white male passed out in the corridor between two buildings on 11th Street. Referred to another agency.


4:37 p.m. – Family disturbance. Sgt. Kevin Odom responded to a residence on 10th Street. The caller's 41-year-old son is high and violent in the house. Warning given.


4:52 p.m. – Outside agency assist. Sgt Kevin Odom initiated activity on 10th and N. Forbes streets in response to heavy flooding. General services rendered.


5:39 p.m. – Family disturbance. Sgt. Kevin Odom and Deputy Darren Daskam responded to residence on 10th Street. The caller's son is out of control and is tearing up the living room; the caller requests he be removed from the house. Gone on arrival.


6:27 p.m. – Family disturbance. Sgt. Kevin Odom responded to residence on 10th Street. The caller's son has returned, is being verbally abusive and she wants him out of the residence. Report taken.


7:23 p.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Norm Taylor initiated activity on N. Main and Ninth streets. Warning given.
