Lakeport Police logs: Tuesday, July 20

1:17 a.m. – Simple battery. Deputy Mauricio Barreto and Officer Richard Santor responded to Sutter Lakeside Hospital, Hill Road, where it was reported there was a domestic violence victim in the emergency room. Does not want a report. Victim is 48 years of age; responsible is her boyfriend, unknown name, in Lucerne. Referred to another agency.


7:51 p.m. – Civil complaint. Deputy Eric Keener responded to caller at Anchorage Inn who requested civil standby to pick up her vehicle to get all her paperwork out of it. Caller still has not called back; closing until she calls again. General services rendered.


7:58 a.m. – Problem with a subject. Officer Jim Bell responds to call from Seventh Street resident who wants to discuss problems with neighbors and possible information regarding the shots fired last night. General services rendered.


1:12 p.m. – Theft up to $400. Officer Jim Bell responded to caller on N. High Street who reported the theft of three shirts from the first address. General services rendered.


2:17 p.m. – Pedestrian check. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at First and Tunis streets. General services rendered.


2:48 p.m. – Foot patrol. Officer Jim Bell initiated activity at Library Park, Park Street. General services rendered.


5:11 p.m. – Lake County Animal Control. Officer Destry Henderson responds to report of a dog locked in a vehicle gasping for air near south entrance to Safeway, 11th Street. Gone on arrival.


5:28 p.m. – Followup. Officer Destry Henderson initiated activity at Handy Auto Supply, S. Main Street. Report taken.


6:24 p.m. – Missing person runaway. Caller on Highway 20, Upper Lake, reports her 16-year-old granddaughter ran away from home last night in Ukiah and caller believes she may be in Lake County. Girl has history of depression and is with an 18 year old. General services rendered.


6:58 p.m. – Contempt of court. Officer Destry Henderson responded to caller on Esplanade and S. Main Street who reports her ex-husband was videotaping her just now and she has a temporary restraining order. Report taken.


7:37 p.m. – Citizen assist. Officer Destry Henderson responded to caller in front of Lakeport Police Department who requested to speak to officer about a ride to the Tower Mart; stated he’s homeless, has a seizure disorder, is feeling dizzy and tired but not wanting an ambulance. He said he was dropped off at the other end of town and not sure he’d make it walking any further. General services rendered.


7:47 p.m. – Noninjury traffic collision. Officer Destry Henderson responded to report of green van versus blue S-10 pickup at Grocery Outlet, S. Main Street. General services rendered; handled prior to

arrival.


8:09 p.m. – Missing person runaway. Resident on Point Drive reports her 16-year-old daughter ran

away from home again last night; daughter texted mom last night at approximately 8 p.m. and stated she was fine and would be home in a few days. Report taken.


8:23 p.m. – Noninjury traffic collision. Resident on Konocti Avenue reported a bicycle ran into his parked car on the street about 20 minutes ago; juvenile bicyclist not injured. General services rendered.


9:57 p.m. – Family disturbance. Officers Destry Henderson and Norm Taylor responded to resident on Parallel Drive who reported a 14-year-old is assaulting her mother; parties separated and in the same house. Unknown juvenile is under the influence; had a large kitchen knife earlier, unknown where it is now. Arrest made.


10:11 p.m. – Welfare check. Officer Norm Taylor responded to anonymous female who requests a welfare check for a pregnant Hispanic female with three kids arguing with mother in parking lot in front of Dollar Tree, S. Main Street. Subject seems scared. Described as 20ish, 5’2”, thin and pregnant, black hair; last seen wearing halter top, negative weapons; associated with silver four-door sedan. Gone on arrival.
