Lakeport Police logs: Tuesday, June 15

1:04 a.m. – Traffic sop, Officers Dale Stoebe and Richard Santor and Chief Kevin Burke initiated activity at Seventh and Forbes street. Warning issued.


2:25 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances. Officer Richard Santor and Chief Kevin Burke respond to caller on S. Main Street who reported a male came to door asking to use the phone; white male, 30s, 6 feet tall, thin, wearing black hooded shirt with hood up and black jeans, tattoos on arms. Gone on

arrival.


4:20 a.m. – Theft over $400. Officer Richard Santor and Chief Kevin Burke respond to resident on Royale Avenue who reports a male came to the house asking to use the phone. Caller turned around and found items missing; occurred 30 minutes ago. Taken: 2 cell phones, 1 red Motorola, second

cell and Acer laptop. Described as Hispanic male, mid to late 20s; last seen wearing dark blue or black sweatshirt with “707 Born and Raised” on the back of shirt, black jeans or black sweats, letters “Mendo” tattooed on his forehead and eyes. He stated his name, that he lives in “Riviera” and is on parole. Report taken.


7:06 a.m. – Public disturbance. Officers Jarvis Leishman and Louis Riccardi respond to Child Protective Services on South Forbes Street where they reported a female, possibly under the influence, was located on the side of the building. Woman is yelling profanities at anyone in the area. Described as Hispanic or Indian female, 30 years of age, 5’4”, 145 pounds, dark brown hair, gray hoodie, khaki shorts, sandals; associated with 50-year-old female sitting on the sidewalk. General services rendered.


10:32 a.m. – Malicious mischief vandalism. Officer Jarvis Leishman responds to Beacon Station on S. Main Street where a vandalism to the air hose occurred over the weekend. Report taken.


10:34 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Jarvis Leishman initiated activity at Bruno’s Foods, Lakeport Boulevard. Warning issued.


12:40 p.m. – Outside agency assist. City of Lakeport reported injured deer near pool, needs to be dispatched. City worker on scene at Clear Lake High School, Lange Street. General services rendered.


1:13 p.m. – Vehicle code/other offenses. Officer Jarvis Leishman responds to employee from Feeney Law Offices on North Main Street who reported a vehicle that has been parking on private property for several days. Caller would like an officer to ticket it; vehicle is silver Volkswagen with unknown plates. General services rendered.


1:19 p.m. – Problem with a subject. Lt. Brad Rasmussen and Officer Jarvis Leishman respond to store on South Main Street that reported problems with a subject trying to use a credit card that does not belong to him. Caller currently is involved in a verbal with the subject, an older white man associated with a white car with a dog inside in front of the building. Gone on arrival.


2:34 p.m. – Penal code/other offenses. Officer Jarvis Leishman responds to caller who reports seeing a male subject possibly purchase alcohol for a teen at the Express Mart on South Main Street; suspect is a white male, late 30s, heavy set brown hair, last seen wearing blue t-shirt, on foot toward Willopoint Resort. General services rendered.


3:21 p.m. – Malicious mischief vandalism. Officer Jarvis Leishman responds to caller on 16th Street who reported four teens walking eastbound on 16th Street, throwing eggs into yards; suspects include one black male juvenile, two white male juveniles and one Indian male juvenile. Gone on arrival.


4:24 p.m. – Officer Dale Stoebe responds to Bruno’s Foods, Lakeport Boulevard, where they reported a shoplifter is in custody. Suspect is an adult female not causing a problem. Report taken; released on cite.


4:44 p.m. – Vehicle code/other offenses. Lt. Brad Rasmussen initiated activity at Lakeport Police Department. General services rendered.


7:23 p.m. – Found property. Officer Dale Stoebe responds to caller who reported finding a bag of medication on the bench in front of Jones Mortuary, N. Main Street. General services rendered.


8:28 p.m. – Problem with a subject. Officer Jim Bell responds to an employee of Safeway on 11th Street, where it was reported that a female is at customer service threatening the employee because he refused the coupons she is trying to use. Subject is a white female, 50s, last seen wearing red shirt, jeans. Warning issued.


8:41 p.m. – LPD animal control issue. Officer Dale Stoebe initiated activity at Lakeport Police Department, N. Forbes Street. Lakeport Police Department animal call.
