Lakeport Police logs: Sunday, Nov. 8

8:45 a.m. – Malicious mischief/vandalism reported on 5th St. to car window. Report taken.

9:20 a.m. – Malicious mischief/vandalism reported to sliding glass door on Alden Avenue. Report taken.

2:28 p.m. – Lost property reported at K-Mart. Report taken.

3:00 p.m. – Lost wallet associated with silver minivan in front of Allen's Furniture. General services rendered.

3:35 p.m. – Report that male subject grabbed a baby and jumped in to a van headed toward Main Street from Library Park. Report taken.

5:27 p.m. – Father is out of town on a cruise. He was supposed to be home today. Neighbor called and advised two subjects (male and female) are in the home. They entered house through garage on Alden Avenue. Checks OK.

6:10 p.m. – K-Mart employee reports subjects were trying to take a shopping cart full of stuff from the store. When approached, they fled running on food towards movie theater; another subject headed the other way. General services rendered.

6:15 p.m. – Report that three young boys, approximately 10 years old, are sitting in the middle of the road and caller almost struck them on N. Forbes and Second Street. Gone on arrival.

6:48 p.m. – Report that person was at the residence yelling and screaming at caller and his wife and was refusing to leave. Subject just sped off in a black lowered Honda Prelude, possibly under the influence of drugs. Last seen heading down Fourth Street. with loud music bumping. General services rendered.

8:29 p.m. – Simple battery reported. Her 10 year-old son just told her that he was assaulted by another juvenile with a stick about two-three hours ago at Library Park. No medical needed. Report taken.

8:34 p.m. – Report that woman's 17-year-old nephew was just assaulted by approximately four subjects that are currently in the driveway challenging him back outside; they are claiming to be “South Siders.” No weapons seen. Report taken.

10:46 p.m. – Traffic stop at Highway 29 and 11th Street. Warning given.

10:58 p.m. – Traffic stop at Lakeshore Boulevard and Lange. Warning given.

11:19 p.m. – Traffic stop at N. High and 20th Street. Warning given.

11:46 p.m. – Traffic stop at Highway 29 and 11th Street. Warning given.
