NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing to consider a Major Use Permit (UP 19-11) to consider approval of a commercial cannabis cultivation project on a 99+ acre property, and consideration of adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS 19-22) on Thursday, March 25, 2021, 9:05 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.

Applicant / Owner: Jinchun Agriculture LLC.

Proposed Project: Four (4) A-Type 3 medium outdoor cannabis cultivation licenses requesting 260,000 sq. ft. of cannabis cultivation area and one (1) A-Type 13 self-distribution license.

Location: 16740 Daly Place, Middletown, CA; APN: 013-013-51.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Clearlake will hold a public hearing at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, CA., to consider the following:

The Community Development Department is requesting to amend Chapter 18-18 Section 18-18.040 (Use Regulations, Table 6) of the City Zoning Code to allow Self-Storage: An establishment that offers for rental, lease or ownership of individual bays that are intended for the storage, warehousing or safe-keeping of goods or possessions, regardless of the duration of such storage, warehousing or safe-keeping (Chapter 18-45: Definitions) in the “RR” Rural Residential and “MUX” Mixed Use Zoning Designations upon issuance of a Conditional Use Permit. The amendment to the City Zoning Code is Categorical Exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061 (b) Review for Exemption.
