TUSCALOOSA, AL — Sarah Barnes of Upper Lake, California, has received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Alabama: Master of Fine Arts.

UA awarded some 5,860 degrees during its spring commencement ceremonies that took place from April 30 to May 2.

Jakubowski named to SNHU President's List

MANCHESTER, NH — Jeremy Jakubowski of Clearlake Oaks, California, has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's Winter 2021 President's List.

The winter term runs from January to May.

Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List.

Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits.

SEWARD, NE — Dawnmarie Schneider of Cobb, Calif., earned a Master’s of Education degree from Concordia University, Nebraska.

Lake County student earns doctorate degree in veterinary medicine

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — A Lake County student has earned a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree.

Carley Jones of Lakeport will graduate from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine with her DVM degree on June 5.

Jones is a graduate of Clear Lake High School.
