Hello readers, and welcome to the Carlé Chronicle, your primary news source for all things Carlé.

Congratulations to last week’s student of the week, Savannah Golden, who has shown to be very goal-oriented and intelligent in her schoolwork.

With only four weeks left of school, things are heating up over here at Carlé.

State testing for English and math takes place this week, with our juniors working hard and studying hard in preparation.

Carlé’s graduation will take place on May 28. Many of our seniors have finished or are currently finishing their portfolios and getting ready to graduate.

We’re all very excited to see our seniors graduate and move on to go pursue the goals and dreams we know they can achieve. It appears our little school will have 35 graduates this year.

The Adult School’s graduation takes place the following day on May 29, and we wish the best of luck to their graduates with their future goals.

Our latest gold level trip will be run by Alan and Angie Siegel. The teachers will take students to MacKerricher State Park in Fort Bragg for a fun-filled day of seal watching and tide pool observing,

Students Roy “Buggy” Kirk and Paul Yanez produced some amazing plaques and coffee mugs for DJ’s Pizza, who have supported Carlé through many endeavors. They will be given out to the generous Kyle and Don Fehr on Tuesday, May 6.

In addition, student Robert McGraw made a mug for maintenance man Neb Tosich and gave him thanks for his continued help and support around Carlé.

Carlé also thanks and welcomes maintenance man Neb Tosich, who along with his great work has shown to be very friendly, intelligent and down-to-earth, helping students with advice and recently working with students DeAndre Morris and Paul Yanez for their play’s sword fighting choreography.

Hailing from Serbia, he is proficient in seven different languages, and he is a welcome addition to Carlé not only for his services, but also his intellect and outgoing personality.
