THE TIME OF THE MEETINGS HAS BEEN CHANGED.

LAKEPORT – Local 28 Lake County Chapter of the American Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education (ABATE) has changed its meeting day and location.

As of Thursday, June 10, Local 28 will begin meeting on the second Thursday of each month at the home of Lori Adams, 105 S. Starr, in Lakeport at 6 p.m.

Adams is hosting all members and prospective members with a barbecue at this meeting. She has plenty of parking available, but please RSVP to her at 707-245-8036 so they know how many to expect for the barbecue.

The group currently is working out the details for the third annual ABATE Northern California Regional Rally, which will be held July 16 and 17 at Kelly's Kamp in Upper Lake. Local 28 will be helped this year by locals from Chico and Vacaville.

This event is open to all motorcycle riders. There will be music on Friday and Saturday nights, bike games, explorer's ride, horseshoes plus vendors on site. Saturday will feature a barbecue in the afternoon.

Remember Local 28 meetings are open to all motorcycle riders, join in and make some new friends to ride with in this great area.
