Fair hosting People Services at Aug. 13 swap meet

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Fair’s Second Sunday Swap Meet is hosting People Services Inc. as its community nonprofit on Aug. 13.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fairgrounds, 401 Martin St. in Lakeport.

People Services Inc. has been serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities for more than 43 years in Lake County.

Many services are offered to meet the needs, wants and desires of those individuals served.

Several individuals have chosen to express themselves through art, including jewelry design.

Individuals’ creations are on display and for sale at the People Services Art Studio located in Clearlake at 14560 Lakeshore Drive.

The artists are bringing their art and jewelry designs to the Lake County Fairgrounds on Aug. 13 to the swap meet event provided by the Lake County Fair.

Stop by and check out the work of People Services artists as well as other spaces of swap meet/flea market type items.
