CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Husband and wife evangelist team Alan and Terina Kelso from Florida will be coming to Praises of Zion Baptist Church in Clearlake on Sunday, Aug. 13, for a special celebration of the church’s 30th anniversary with the message “Declare and Decree, I Made It”
The program starts at 10 am.
Alan Kelso began fulfilling his calling to ministry over 40 years ago. As pastor, motivational speaker, conference speaker and author, evangelist Kelso has traveled the world preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He has served as a business leader, political advisor, conference speaker and evangelist both locally in the U.S. and internationally.
He has produced several Christian TV specials and hosted two daily television shows and a radio show with over one million viewers and listeners. His company was distinguished as a Premier Film and Video Production Company for Sony Broadcast.
He is founder and president of Kelso Ministries International and KMI Publishing. His latest book, “I Will Not Be Defined,” is available on Amazon and was given five stars by www.goodreads.com.
Recording and gospel artist Terina Kelso was raised in Oakland. She was placed in foster care at 9 months of age. She was raised as a woman of God by the late Bishop L.B. Johnson and First Lady Julia Johnson of Calvary Temple Church of God.
In her early years she developed her love of music and would sing at church. Her career allowed her to be amongst other anointed singers and musicians to be a part of the first CD project with one of the largest and fastest growing churches in Florida, Calvary Christian Center.
Her latest single, “I Made It,” comes from the tragedy of losing three of her small children to a house fire in 1990. She made a decision to allow the grace of God to bring her through the immense pain and loss and to lift her up and propel her forward with these three words.
In addition to her music career she developed Lady T Enterprise, a multi-functional business venture, a public relations and consulting business, and co-host on a WTLV NBC12 “The Chat” in Jacksonville, Fla.
They will be the guest speakers at Praises of Zion Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m.
The church is located at 3845 Emile Ave. in Clearlake.
