LAKEPORT – All are welcome at the 8 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass at Lakeport’s historic St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, 1190 N. Forbes St.

Officiating at the candlelight service will be retired Rhode Island Episcopal Bishop George Hunt of Windsor.

St. John’s is part of the Redwood Episcopal Cluster which includes Holy Trinity, Ukiah, and St. Francis in the Redwoods, Willits.

The church is known throughout Lake County for its food closet and thrift store outreach. Food donations for the food closet and thrift shop volunteers are always needed to sustain these valuable community services.
