UPPER LAKE, Calif. – Certified lay minister Gary Lewis will officiate the July 26 worship service at 11 a.m. at the Upper Lake United Methodist Church.

Lewis' message will focus on the power of prayer and will explore the little-known and often overlooked Prayer of Jabez as written in the Old Testament, the First Book of Chronicles chapter 4 verses nine to 10.

All are invited to attend.

The church is located at 604 Clover Valley Road, on the corner of First Street and Clover Valley Road, in the town of Upper Lake.
