KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The service this Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County will be on imagination.
The service begins at 11 a.m. at the shared church located on the corner of First and Main streets in Kelseyville. Guests are welcome.
Guest speaker Andrew Hidas is a writer, editor and past president of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Santa Rosa.
Hidas’ sermon is entitled, “More Real Than Reality: Fiction and the Religious Quest.”
He will discuss imagination as “perhaps the most distinctive of all human qualities. Imagination is the basis of all our literature, both sacred and secular.” The sermon will reflect on fiction and the religious quest.
