LAKEPORT, Calif. – Mahatma Gandhi said, “I like your Jesus, but why are your Christians so unlike your Jesus?”

Herb Montgomery, author and speaker for Renewed Heart Ministries will present a portion of his series, “The Jesus Dialogue,” this Friday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. and throughout the day Saturday, Nov. 12, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Lakeport Seventh-day Adventist Community Church, at the corner of Park and Hill, right off Highway 29.

“The Jesus Dialogue” is a different kind of event that takes an honest look at the person of Jesus, what he taught, and the difference between following a religion versus following a person.

The topics will be:

• Saturday 1: Repenting of Religion.

• Saturday 2: If God is So Good …

• Saturday 3: Did Jesus Really Need to Die?
