The film will be shown on Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Middletown Community United Methodist Church, 15843 Armstrong St. in Middletown.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the film is at 3 p.m.
There is no cost to attend and refreshments will be served.
This is the second in a series of free films offered in 2011 by the Middletown Community Life Team at the Middletown Community United Methodist Church on the second and third Saturdays of each month.
“Appreciating life and options for honoring the death of a family member or friend is the focus of this amazing film” said Pastor Voris Brumfield. “I wish I had seen it prior to the death of my husband Richard and my mother Allee. Everyone should have the opportunity to educate themselves and be released from the fear of dying, which this film offers.” she concluded.
“A Family Undertaking” allows the audience an understanding of the changes in the way Americans have honored those who have died over the past 150 years and meet persons who participate in the planning of their own funerals.
