LUCERNE – Lucerne Community Church announced that Celebrate Recovery will meet weekly on Friday evenings starting Sept. 7 at the church, 5870 E. Highway 20.

Celebrate Recovery started 15 years ago at Saddleback Church in Southern California and now has more than 4,500 groups in 14 countries around the world.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step program that is Christ-centered, and welcomes anyone with a habit, hurt or hangup who is looking for a fellowship where they can share their trials, tribulations, and celebrate successes with others in a safe and secure atmosphere of complete anonymity.

The no-charge dinner starts at 6 p.m., followed by worship, teaching and discussion groups, and closes with social gathering.
