KELSEYVILLE – Galilee Lutheran Church invites the community to participate in the church's Holy Week services.
Maundy Thursday service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 1, and Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 2.
On Easter, which is Sunday, April 4, a sunrise service will be held at 6 a.m. at Clear Lake State Park, with breakfast at the church's community center to follow from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and an egg hunt for children at 9 a.m.
The traditional Easter service will be held at 10 a.m. The church's congregation welcomes the community to join it in remembering Jesus' last days.
Interim Pastor Dennis Eucalyptus will deliver a sermon titled, “Easter, the big picture.”
Sunday school will be held at 9 a.m. for the children. Adult bible study also is at 9 a.m. and will be repeated at 11:30 a.m. with a continuation of the video “The New Testament” followed by discussion.
The church practices open communion. Everyone is welcome to come and receive communion.
