HVL Men’s Niners host Oct. 4 medal play tourney

HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – A field of 42 HVL Men’s Niners members took part in a medal play tournament at Hidden Valley Lake golf course on Thursday, Oct. 4.

Winners were as follows.

• First flight: First place went to Rick Conrad with a net 32; second place went to Dave Mann with a net 33. Third place went to Fred Figg with a net 35.  
• Second flight: First place was a tie between Mike Casolo and Don Dornbush with a net 31. Second place went to Arch Madsen with a net 33 and there was a third place tie between Bill Helt and Jim Hodges with a net 34.  
• Third flight: First place went to Pete Gumina with a net 33. Second place winner was Bob Schossler with a net 36. Byron Hoss and Russ Sage tied for third place with a net 37. 

Closet to pins were Dave Mann and Brian Panizzera.

Don Dornbush, Phil Tyler, Sam Debone, Bill Surber and Arch Madsen got chip ins.
