2:34 p.m. – Small grass fire starting on westbound Highway 20 just east of Robinson Rancheria.


4:39 p.m. – Solo traffic collision with ambulance responding on Soda Bay Road at Konocti Harbor. Driver will seek own treatment.

6:25 p.m. – Two-vehicle collision with no injuries on Highway 20 at Robinson Rancheria.


6:58 p.m. – Dead fawn in the roadway on Greenwood at Mountain Crest.


Thursday, June 28


2:51 p.m. – Tree down, blocking lane on North Drive at Sulphur Bank Road, Clearlake Oaks.


Wednesday, June 27


7:46 a.m. – White and brown dog hit by a white Ford extra cab pickup with a white camper shell. Dog died; truck didn't stop.


3:14 p.m. – Vehicle fire on Highway 20 at the Lake/Mendocino County line.

7:47 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries at the county jail. CHP unit appears involved.


1:47 p.m. – A load of garbage, wire, a couch and chair are in the roadway on northbound North Drive two miles up from Sulphur Bank Road. Garbage still in the road at 9:55 p.m. County Roads Department notified.

8:45 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 20 at Fifth. Silver Ford versus a Dodge Ram.


11:11 a.m. – Big rig stalled on westbound Highway 20 just west of New Long Valley Road.


1:18 p.m. – Report of fire along Highway 20 at the Lake/Mendocino County line.

3:13 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Soda Bay Road at Steelhead on the 90-degree turn. Purple Ford Focus went through a fence and into the a vineyard. Vehicle's front wheel is bent.


5:10 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Hartmann Road just east of Highway 29. Off-road solo motorcycle collision.


10:50 p.m. – Older, dark-colored Cadillac stalled in the middle of the roadway with no lights on Highway 20 one mile east of Clearlake Oaks.


Saturday, June 23


9:15 a.m. – Dead dog straddling the fog line and causing a traffic hazard on Highway 29 approximately one-half mile north of the Lake/Napa County lines. Another dog there trying to protect him.


5:24 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Bottle Rock Road just south of Binkley Road.


Friday, June 22


12:27 p.m. – Traffic collision with minor injuries on Highway 20 just east of Le Trianon, near Blue Lakes. Car slowed for U-turn and was rear-ended.


1:54 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding at 10500 Bottle Rock Road at Highway 29. White car overturned.

10:58 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Lakeshore at Pine Dell, Clearlake Park. A Bud Light truck ran a white Monte Carlo into the hill just past the “goose neck.”


Wednesday, June 20


10:26 a.m. – Gray vehicle causing a traffic hazard on Sulphur Bank Road en route to Elem Colony.


10:45 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Pt. Lakeview Road at Highway 29 in Lower Lake. Vehicle off the roadway.


1:46 p.m. – Disabled vehicle on Road M 10 and Elk Mountain Road.

5:46 a.m. – Motorcycle collision occurred somewhere in Kelseyville with victim taken to Sutter Lakeside by private vehicle.


9:26 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries. Accident took place on Mount St. Helena, where driver had a solo spinout while trying to avoid a deer.

9:17 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Spruce Grove Road South just north of Jerusalem Grade reported from night before.


Saturday, June 16


1:35 p.m. – Traffic collision with minor injuries on Highway 20 just east of Highway 53. Acura versus a U-Haul truck.


2:40 p.m. – Caller reports a male hitchhiking at a blind curve on eastbound Highway 20 at mile marker 41, causing a traffic hazard.

12:17 a.m. – Unknown type of debris in the road on Lakeshore just north of Katy. Caltrans moves what turns out to be a bag of trash out of the roadway.


11 a.m. – Traffic hazard with a vehicle in the road on Highway 29 at Highway 175/Hopland. SUV needs a tow; anti-theft device won't allow vehicle to move.


1:35 p.m. – Pickup spilled a lot of aluminum cans on the 11th Street onramp to southbound Highway 29.


3:33 p.m. – Elderly couple stranded in a disabled Dodge Caravan on a blind curve on northbound Highway 29 just north of Hill Road.

12:16 a.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding to Highway 29 just south of Bottle Rock Road.


2:48 p.m. – Solo vehicle into an embankment and a fence on westbound Highway 20 at mile marker 24. No injuries reported.

10:41 p.m. – Injured deer in middle of roadway on Highway 20 just east of Blue Lakes.


Tuesday, June 12


4:50 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Highway 20 at Carson. Solo vehicle off the roadway into a ditch. Vehicle hit a light pole. Female driver airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.


5:14 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries at Rancheria Road at Elk Mountain Road. Solo vehicle accident, with vehicle bumping into a bridge.

12:21 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Butts Canyon three miles past Guenoc Winery.


12:23 p.m. – Disabled vehicle on westbound Highway 20 at mile marker 37.


3:52 p.m. – Disabled vehicle causing a traffic hazard on southbound Highway 29 at Bayshore Marina.

12:55 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Highway 53, approximately one-half mile south of Highway 20. “Utter chaos” at the scene. One man killed.

7:47 p.m. – Traffic hazard on Highway 29 just north of Pt. Lakeview. Vehicle with a broken water hose.

11:21 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Highway 20 near Clearlake Oaks. Red 1991 Mazda Protege into the lake between Clearlake Oaks and Lucerne. Driver got out with minor cuts and bruises.

12:34 p.m. – Vehicle parked in the roadway, facing wrong direction, at 21595 Yankee Valley Road and Honey Hill.


Saturday, June 2


2:06 p.m. – Traffic hazard at 9530 Mendenhall Ave. and First, Upper Lake. White Toyota Tacoma blocking a driveway.


3:54 p.m. – Vehicle in the creek at Highland Springs Road and the Toll Road. Car is handing off embankment.


5:06 p.m. – White plastic table in the roadway at Highway 53 and Anderson Marsh.


Friday, June 1


9:56 a.m. – Vegetation and structure fire reported at Brown's RV Park on Orchard and Highway 53, Lower Lake. Propane tank exploded. Fire and CHP on scene. One victim flown to a burn center.


3:11 p.m. – Traffic collision with minor injuries at 4598 Foothill Drive, Lucerne. Child ran into the side of a white Dodge Caravan, was knocked down and scraped his knee. Child is OK.


8:08 p.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries at Highway 29 and Kit's Corner.


10:48 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding at Highway 175/Hopland, just west of Highway 29. Vehicle in a ditch.

1:16 p.m. – Wire hanging in the roadway with a pole leading on Lakeshore Boulevard at Hammond in Nice. Unsure if the lines are cable or electric. Later determined to be AT&T's wire.


Wednesday, May 30


11:47 a.m. – Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 281 off Highway 29. Maroon Dodge Caravan is off the highway and in the bushes.


4:30 p.m. – Motorcycle down on the roadway on Bottle Rock Road about six miles from Highway 29. Ambulance responding.


10:44 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Country Club Drive near 10th. Man is lying in the street with his bicycle 30 feet away. Says he needs an ambulance and can't walk. Appears to be a bicycle traffic accident.


Tuesday, May 29


12:20 p.m. – Tread from a blowout tire in the roadway on southbound Highway 29 near Hofacker.


12:49 p.m. – Insulation off a big rig in the roadway on westbound Highway 20 just west of Harvey.


3:41 p.m. – Big rig versus a car on northbound Highway 29 at Kit's Corner. Parties reported trapped inside the car.


4:06 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding on Highway 20 at Collier. Two vehicles involved, a 1991 Toyota versus a 1965 Ford Mustang; one of the vehicles was t-boned.


6:25 p.m. – Traffic collision with minor injuries at 1460 Soda Bay Road at Big Valley Rancheria.

5:07 p.m. – Two-vehicle, head-on collision with minor injuries at 4962 Gaddy Lane at Blue Court, Kelseyville. Black truck versus a Dodge Neon.

2:51 p.m. – Disabled vehicle on Soda Bay Road at Gaddy Lane, Kelseyville. Elderly male and a young child stranded.


Saturday, May 26


12:12 p.m. – White truck blocking the roadway at 12559 E. Highway 20.


2:40 p.m. – Black pickup with a boat stopped to pick up life jackets on the roadway and causing a traffic hazard on Highway 29 at Mockingbird.


3:43 p.m. – Traffic collision with ambulance responding at 9961 Highway 53 at Highway 29. Passenger has an injury.
