Lakeport Police logs: Wednesday, Aug. 5

3:24 a.m. – Report that neighbors are having a verbal argument and man is trying to get into her apartment.

7:45 a.m. – Report that two males were smoking and now are playing basketball at Terrace Middle School.

10:38 a.m. – Fraud reported at store on Lakeport Boulevard. Subjects wrote a check on a closed account. Both were arrested.

11 a.m. – A vehicle that appears to have crashed in to a fence; it’s facing the wrong direction and the front window is kicked in. Vehicle, a blue 1993 Ford Escort, has been there a while but there is on one around.

1:19 p.m. – Identity theft reported on Spring Valley Road.

4:06 p.m. – A woman on Ninth Street reported that someone stole luggage from her back porch.

4:10 p.m. – Woman reported that bowling owes her money for time worked by they are refusing to give it to her.

5:22 p.m. – Report that tenants moved out on Saturday and turned in the keys, but have done a lot of damage to the property before moving. Neighbors called to report that the teenage boys are back at the house and possibly doing more damage.

6:29 p.m. – An arrest was made for shoplifting at store in the 2000 block of S. Main.

7:40 p.m. – Person turned in some old ammunition to the Lakeport Police.
 
11:01 p.m. – Two men were reported to have stolen two cases of beer from store on 11th.
