Lakeport Police logs: Tuesday, Jan. 18

2:57 a.m. – Public disturbance. Officer Jarvis Leishman responded to report of man yelling, possibly outside pounding on a door, trying to get in on Fifth and N. High streets. Gone on arrival.

 

8:26 a.m. – Commercial burglary. Officer Norm Taylor responded to S&K Automotive, S. Main Street. Money, tools and car parts are missing. Report taken.

 

8:58 a.m. – California Highway Patrol assist. Officer Norm Taylor responded to CHP report of a possible stolen car parked on State Highway 20 and Lakeshore Boulevard in Nice. Referred to another agency.

 

9:00 a.m. – Officer Norm Taylor initiated activity at A1 Electric, Grace Lane. Arrest made.

 

11:03 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle. Officer Norm Taylor responded to report of a vehicle parked on bridge at Armstrong and S. Tunis streets for over a week. Parking citation issued.

 

1:25 p.m. – Traffic accident. Officer Norm Taylor responded to Bank of America, N. Main Street, report of collision between a red truck and black SUV; no injuries. General services rendered.

 

5:49 p.m. – Sgt. Jason Ferguson responded to 19th Street. A stray chocolate lab came to the caller’s house but took off headed up 19th Street, toward Mellor Street. General services rendered.

 

6:26 p.m. – Theft up to $400. Sgt. Jason Ferguson responded to reports of theft of a breaker out of an electrical outlet within the last 30 minutes on 14th Street. Report taken.

 

9:02 p.m. – Residential burglary. Officer Jarvis Leishman responded to report of possible alarm and tampering with a vehicle on Parallel Drive. Report taken.
